Riverain Technologies, a clinical artificial intelligence (AI) company with international clients, has expanded this year, recently hiring seven employees. Stephen Keirn and Jason Monnin join the research and development department; Ty Tolley joins installation and services; MaryAnn Besser, Phil Ives, and Emily Stamas join the sales and marketing department; and Marti Lay joins the administrative department.
Keirn joins Riverain Technologies as a senior software engineer. He is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing architectures suitable for computationally intensive applications, employing sophisticated image and AI technologies with demanding run-time requirements.
Monnin has extensive experience developing production-ready algorithms using signal processing, image processing, and machine learning. He is a senior research scientist, who is responsible for research and implementation of advanced image processing using machine learning frameworks.
Tolley has several years of experience with troubleshooting complex issues on production PACS systems with many technologies and tools. Tolley joins as a senior installation and service engineer responsible for installing and configuring Riverain solutions.
Besser brings a successful record in solutions marketing, content development, demand generation, and sales support. As director of marketing, she is responsible for overall marketing operations, driving product sales and visibility and executing strategic marketing programs to achieve key business objectives.
Ives, a seasoned sales veteran joins Riverain as director of sales for the Midwest. He is responsible for achieving the company’s medical device sales in the region.
Stamas has extensive experience in marketing, branding, project development and management, and art direction. As the senior sales and marketing coordinator, she is responsible for planning, designing, and managing marketing campaigns.
Lay has almost 20 years as an office manager and administrator. She will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties to support general office operations.

This staff growth will advance and support Riverain in the use of AI imaging software used by leading hospitals and radiology reading groups around the world.
