CASE STUDY
Regional Medical Imaging (RMI) is a fully ACR-accredited radiology practice serving Southeast and Mid-Michigan with a wide set of diagnostic and interventional radiology services. In 2014, Dr. Ehab Youssef joined RMI after completing his fellowships at the University of Michigan Medical School in Radiology.
Shortly after starting with RMI, based on his education and experience, Dr. Youssef began leading their lung cancer screening efforts. Dr. Youssef knows that lung cancer screening saves lives; however, challenging lung reads make implementing a screening or incidental nodule program seem overwhelming for some. While the patient impact is substantial, reader impact can’t be ignored.
